Shipping policy
LOCAL PICKUP
- Orders are typically ready for pick up shortly after your online order has been processed.
- Orders can be picked up at any time during normal store hours (Tuesday-Friday 11-7 and Saturday & Sunday 11-5)
- When you arrive at the store please give us your order number/s and we will pack your items for you
- If you have a large order or are in a hurry you can give the store a call at (902) 869-2782 when you are on your way and we will begin packing the order before you arrive
- The less time your livestock spends in bags the better - so we prefer to pack as close to pick
Shipping Orders
- Livestock order are currently available for the Maritimes (NS,PEI,NB) only and will be shipped Via Maritime bus. Dry good orders will be shipped via Canada Post or UPS and available Canada wide.
- Livestock shipments to your door will be available in the coming weeks through UPS.
- Payments received on Saturday and Sunday, orders will be ship on Tuesday of the upcoming week
- Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accurate shipping address to deliver, please double check your address in your order confirmation.
- We will not give refunds for orders where UPS has determined there’s no safe location to leave package.
- Living Reef is not responsible for unfortunate events such as misplaced, lost or stolen packages, during the time of transit. Under all circumstances the shipping agent is responsible. We will do our best to assist all customers regarding missing packages.
- Customers are responsible for picking up their packages when the bus arrives at their desired terminal. Living Reef is not responsible for packages that were not picked up on the day of arrival.
- Living Reef has no control over delays of package during the shipping process. You would need to contact the shipping agent's customer service to help answer and track your order. We will do our best to assist all customers with obtaining transit information of your order.
RATES
- Flat Rate Shipping to the Maritimes for Livestock is $35. Orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Livestock shipping is Tues-Wed & Fri-Sat. All orders depart at 12:00pm from Dartmouth Terminal.
- Visit https://maritimebus.com/en/plan-your-trip/planning-schedules to find your closest bus stop. Ensure the arrival time for that stop with the departure of Dartmouth Terminal (12pm Departure).
- For those not close to a Maritime Bus stop please contact us prior to placing your livestock orders for shipping options.
- Dry Good orders will have a flat rate of $25. Dry Good orders over $150 qualify for free shipping
- Over size items (Salt) may have an additional shipping charges.
- We do not ship to the US.
NOTE:
- Orders will be shipped to the address given at checkout.
- Living Reef DOES NOT ship to P.O. Box address.
- Living Reef WILL NOT refund orders that were given insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid address.
- NO REFUND on shipping cost for any reasons.
